Sing-a-Long Psalms

Richard brings this week’s message from Psalms 51, where David writes deeply about the depth of his transgression and his recognition of his need for forgiveness. David recognizes how he has sinned against God and that repentance is more than going through the motions and offerings. Forgiveness requires recognizing the depth fo our sins and […]

Sing-a-Long Psalms

We ran into a few technical difficulties this morning, but was able to capture most of this week’s sermon for you. We are in Psalm 8, where we see David praising the Creator for everything that He made and remembering even us in all of creation. Seeing creation should lead to praising the Creator.

Equipping

This week Richard brings a remote message about what seems to be an often overlooked passage in Exodus 35. The Israelites had been given specific instruction on what the Lord required from the Commandments to various laws to the construction of the Tabernacle; they had been given specific tasks. In Exodus 35:30-35, we see how […]

Conquerors

Richard wraps up the sermon series in Joshua 8:30-35. While this passage may seem an odd place to end a series on conquering, it is a very meaningful section of scripture to understand. The Israelites had understood that they had done wrong and were being repentant for their actions. In this passage, they have recognized […]

Conquerors

This week Richard dives into Joshua 7, where we see God deal with the Israelites’ sin, specifically Achan’s sin of plundering from Jericho. The Israelites were directed to not take anything, yet Acahn compromised and this lead to troubles for the Israelites in future battles. The sin had to be dealt with so the Israelites […]

Conquerors

This week we are in Joshua 6, where we see how the Israelites take the city of Jericho. Joshua received instructions from God in Joshua 6:1-5 that would not make sense in normal warfare, but Joshua committed to the instructions… and God followed through. If you want to conquer, you must commit.

Conquerors

This week we are in Joshua 3 and we take a look at consecration, and the Israelites were called to consecrate themselves before crossing the Jordan River. Because they listened, they were able to cross the river on dry land. If you want to conquer, you must be consecrated.

Conquerors

This week we take a look at Joshua 2, where we see the spies going in to Jericho to gather intelligence. When they were in Jericho, they had to be crafty to be able to gather the required information to be able to take the land that was promised to them. If you want to […]
