When in Rome

This week we are studying Romans 13 and what it means to be a good neighbor and that we are to submit to authority. In the first part of the chapter, Paul tells us that we should be submitting to the governing authority since there is no authority except that which comes from God.

We then dive into what it means to be a good neighbor and who our neighbors are. In today’s world, our neighbors can be anyone with as connected as we are currently (including those in authority and those far away from us). Our neighbors are anyone who needs help or offers help, no matter if we like them or not. We see an example of this illustrated in Luke 10:25-37.
