Richard wraps up this series with the illustration of the wise man who built his house upon the rock in Matthew 7:24-29. As a call back to our youth, we go through the children’s song and then dive into the scripture and discussion. As followers of Christ, we are called to build our house upon the rock (Jesus’ word, scripture) so we can withstand the storms and rising waters (life’s events and trials) as they come along.

If we do not build on a strong foundation, we will end up watching everything fall.
