This week we are in Daniel 2 where King Nebuchadnezzar has a dream that needs to be interpreted, but does not tell of the dream. Only Daniel is able to tell the king what the dream was and what it meant. The dream detailed many kingdoms that were established and their ultimate fates. Daniel used this as a reminder to the king that he is sovereign, powerful, and to be glorified BUT only because God put him in that place.

This is a reminder to Christians everywhere that Gad chooses kings and kingdoms. And gets to Richard’s point that God can use whoever He wants, whenever He wants, to do whatever He wants.
