Last week we looked at David in Jesus’ lineage, this week we take a look at Solomon. In 1 Kings 8 we see the commemoration of the Temple that would last for generations. Eventually this temple would be destroyed and rebuilt by Herod. Jesus entered the temple Herod built and foretold that He would destroy the temple and build it back in three days, though they did not understand that the temple he was referring to was His body.
