In this mini-series, we will explore Jesus’s heritage and what it foreshadowed for the Messiah. We take a look at David and how he ruled over Israel. In 1 Chronicles, David is described as ruling over Israel with justice and righteousness.

In Isaiah 9, it says that the Messiah will “He will reign on the throne of David and over his kingdom, to establish and sustain it with justice and righteousness from now on and forever.” We can see the current world is not ruled with justice and righteousness; however, when Jesus returns he will create a new kingdom that will be ruled with justice and righteousness forever.
