Nathanael Coffman continues the Growing Pains series in 1 Corinthians 9 where Paul sets the example of laying down his rights out of love for what he is doing. Paul calls back to the Old Testament to show that as an Apostle, he has the right to make a living, but he is willing to lay down his rights to share the Gospel.
Paul also used this as an opportunity to set the example of being adaptable to his audience when it comes to sharing the word, being committed and firm on the essentials but able to be flexible when it comes to everything else so that he may win more people to Christ.
