This week we see the Israelites in the wilderness for the first time. At the beginning of Exodus 15, they are singing a praise song to the Lord for all he has just done for them; however, we see them start to grumble and complain for water three days after walking through the Red Sea on dry land. Again, Moses takes it to the Lord and he provides a way for drinkable water from a bitter source.
This week, we remember that God provides for His people. He did so for Israel in the wilderness, and He did so for us on the cross.
