This week, as America celebrates 250 years of freedom, Mason reminds us that true freedom comes from the Son. We look at John 8:31-36 where Jesus tells the people that if we abide in his Word, the truth will set us free; and if the Son sets you free, you are free indeed. The greatest […]
Mason concludes the Broken but Chosen series this morning looking at a man after God’s own heart, David. We set the stage this morning looking at David’s transgression with Bathsheba (the adultery, the coverup, and the murder of Uriah). But it doesn’t end there… Had it ended there, David would be remembered completely differently; however, […]
Mason brings this Father’s Day message focusing on Jesus’s earthly father, Joseph in Matthew 1 & 2. Joseph was engaged to Mary, yet she became pregnant and he was to face the shame and stigma that came with this. But Joseph was faithful to God’s plan, and he showed this over and over through the […]
This week Mason brings the message from Acts 9 where we see Saul (Paul) transformed from a persecutor of the Church to one of the greatest preachers. He was on his way to precut more Christians, but had an encounter that changed the entire course of his life. Without Paul, we wouldn’t have half of […]
Mason continues the Broken but Chosen series this morning in Judges 6-7, where we look at Gideon’s story. Gideon was afraid, fearful, and spent his life in hiding; the Midianites had oppressed Israel for many years. Gideon was called to lead Israel in battle to a great victory, but Gideon constantly asked God for reassurance […]
This week Mason takes us to Joshua 2 to look at Rahab. The first thing we learn about Rahab is that she has a history of being a prostitute. However, God see more than your reputation; she has faith in the God of Israel. She has heard of what God did and knows that He […]
Mason starts a new series, Broken but Chosen. This series will remind us that God does not require perfection; He simply asks for surrender and faith no matter your past, weakness, or your struggle. God can still use your life for His glory. This week we are in Exodus 3-4 looking at Moses. When Moses […]
During graduation season, it often becomes a time of “What’s next?” as seniors move on from the familiar to the unfamiliar. As adults, we often encounter the same question when life throws new things our way. Mason takes us to Joshua 1 as we see Joshua encounter the same circumstances after Moses’ death. In this […]
Mason brings a Mother’s Day message this week focusing on Mary and the qualities that made her highly favored. Try was highly favored by God because: she had a proper perspective, she had a solid foundation, and she was unwavering in her love and devotion.
Mason brings this morning’s message (and challenge) from Matthew 28:16-20. In this passage, Jesus gives the Great Commission to Christians everywhere. We are called to go and make disciples, which runs counter to our Western Christian views to go to church and receive. We see in Acts the fruitfulness of this command… One (Jesus) became […]
