This week we take a look at a very well-known miracle in the New Testament, where Jesus walks on the water. We look at this from Simon Peter’s point of view this week and get a lesson that we can apply to our lives today. When Simon sees Jesus walking on the water, his great faith allows him to call out to Jesus and step out of the boat towards Jesus. However, we see Simon lose focus when he sees what all is happening around him and he starts to fall into the water. Jesus says to him “You of little faith, why did you doubt?”

Simon was already walking on the water when he lost focus, and that’s when the doubt creeped in and he started to sink. We are reminded that we need to keep focus on Jesus.
