Today Richard is in Daniel 3 where we discuss Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego and their refusal to bow to the statue that King Nebuchadnezzar erected. Richard alludes to an important truth that VeggieTales calls out but is something that is often overlooked in the text; verse 12 says that there are some Jews that do not obey, implying there are others that do comply with the King’s order. The three give a strong rebuke in verses 16-18 and know God can save them; even if He doesn’t they are still going to refuse to break the Lord’s command.

For Christians today, we have to ask ourselves: Even if God doesn’t, will you still worship?
